VOLT APL Switchbox

VOLT APL Switchboxes are rotary type position indicators available as Limit or Proxy switchbox in Standard (APL210 or APL220), Heavy Duty (APL310) and Ex / IS (APL510 or APL520) versions. Designed to integrate a valve and pneumatic actuator with a variety of internal switches or sensors.

Suitable for small size pneumatic actuators the APL switchbox offers mechanical, low cost single pole, double throw plated contact switching with an operating life of 100,000 cycles.

Inductive sensors are suitable for computer input circuits and general purpose applications with an operating life of 5 million cycles.

APL switchboxes also benefit from hermetically sealed proximity switches.

  • APL 210: 2 x microswitches and 2 x SPDT switches - IP67.
  • APL 310: 2 x microswitches and 2 x SPDT switches - IP67.
  • APL 510: ATEX 2 x microswitches and 2 x SPDT switches - ATEX ll 2 G Ex d llC T6 -IP67 .
  • APL 220: Standard proximity sensors and 2 x 2-wire spring loaded cams - IP67.
  • APL 520: ATEX proximity 2 x 2-wire proximity sensors - spring loaded cams - ATEX ll 2 G Ex d llC T6 - IP67.
  • Material: Die Cast Aluminium with Stainless Steel shaft.
  • Enclosure finish: Polyester power coating (Black).
  • Ambient temperature: -20°C to +80°C and -20°C to +60°C.

    • Covers the following IDs: APL210, APL310, APL510, APL220, APL520.
