WRAS Cast Iron Y Type Strainer Flanged PN16

Our WRAS Approved Cast Iron Y Type Strainer Flanged PN16 with EN-GJL-250 Blue Epoxy coated body is compact, easy to clean and features a removable drain plug and Stainless Steel 1.5mm to 3mm screen mesh. It provides an economical solution and is recommended for applications where damage to valves and other related mechanical equipment needs to be avoided.

Pipeline debris including dirt and scale is often the cause of failure, damage, energy loss and a reduction in productivity.

Key features:

  • Available in PN16 flanged, sizes: 2" up to 12".
  • Screen mesh size 1.5mm (2" to 3") to 3mm (4" to 12").
  • Temperature range: Up to 120°C .
  • Pressure rating: PN16.
  • WRAS approved.

The installation of a strainer is always recommended to ensure trouble-free service.

This product has been examined, tested and found, when correctly installed, to comply with the requirements of the United Kingdom Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations and Scottish Water Bylaws.
 
A valid certificate and approval number can be obtained upon request.
